About us
A workshop where metal is never taken lightly
MDV Metal Design Vidić is a family story.
A story of a craft learned not from catalogues, but to the sound of the grinder, the smell of metal and hours spent in the workshop.
Heritage
A craft handed down through generations
The older generation laid the foundations: discipline, respect for the material and responsibility for every project.
The new generation brings a feel for space, an eye for aesthetics and a contemporary way of thinking about design.
Who we work with
Projects where metal has a purpose
We work with people who are not looking for ‘something in metal’, but for something meaningful and lasting. The best collaborations happen when everyone sees the project as a whole, not just as a job. Today, MDV delivers projects that last for years but are remembered for their detail.

Architects and interior designers
Collaborations on projects where metal becomes part of the architecture.

Developers
Projects that demand lasting build quality and a reliable partner.

Residential projects
High-end interiors and exteriors.

Hospitality and commercial spaces
Projects that call for a distinct identity, not a generic solution.
We don't believe in speed at the expense of quality
We believe in long-term relationships with clients, architects and partners. We believe luxury is not created with ornament – but through calm, assured execution.
The workshop and the process
Where the difference is made
Behind every finished photograph lies a great deal of cutting, welding, grinding and small decisions you don’t see at first glance.
That is why we like to show the process: the workshop, the connections, the textures of the metal, the installation on site. This is where you see how MDV work comes together.
How we work
A process that is simple,
but never superficial
1. First, we listen
Every project starts with a conversation. We want to understand the space, the idea, the context and how the project should ‘feel’ – not just how it should look.
2. We develop the solution
We turn the idea into a technically sound design. This is where aesthetics meet feasibility.
3. We make it in our workshop
The workshop is where the real thing takes shape. This is where you see the difference between ‘making it’ and ‘making it properly’.
4. Installation and finishing details
On site, we take care of the space, the people and the final impression. The finish is the moment a project takes on its full character.
Materials and capabilities
We love materials that have character and demand expertise
We make railings, staircases, structures, canopies, and interior and exterior details – always tailored to the space and the idea behind the project. We don’t do catalogue solutions.
We make what is right for that space.

How long does it take?
It depends on the complexity of the project. We agree realistic timescales, with no empty promises.
Do you come on site to measure?
Yes. Precise measurement is the foundation of good work.

Where do you work?
We work on projects throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and the wider region.
